Peggy Atkins Lewis, age 76 of Ferrum died Tuesday, April 28, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clenard "Slick" Lewis; parents, Charlie and Elva Atkins; and brothers, George Atkins and Thomas Burel Atkins. Surviving are her brothers and sister, Raymond Atkins, Marie A. Shively, Charlie O. "Dickie" Atkins, Jr.; many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Henry Memorial Park with Pastor Calvin Hickson officiating. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
