Peggy Blair Willis

Peggy Lorine Blair Willis, 79 of Ferrum passed away Friday, March 20, 2015 at her residence. She was born April 17, 1935 in Pittsylvania County, a daughter of the late Sam A. and Alcie Owen Blair. Also, she was preceded in death by a son, John Elbert Jefferson, Jr and a daughter at birth; two sisters, Edna Blair and Ora Matherly; four brothers, Aaron Blair, Clarence Blair, Charles Blair and Earl Blair. Surviving to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 36 years, Ronald Willis; step-daughter, Rhonda Hester and husband Mark; granddaughters, Danielle Holland and Brittney Woods; great- grandson, Kyle Dean Holland; sisters, Estelle Watson, Mary Jane Hancock and Alice Holley; mother-in-law, Blanche Willis. Special Thanks to Carillion Hospice, Dr. Barrett and Dr. Dulaney for their care. Funeral services will be conducted at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 23, 2015 with Pastor Billy Shively officiating. Interment will follow in Cooper Family Cemetery. Her family will receive friends 4-6 pm Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
