Penny Lee Altice

Penny Lee Altice, age 72 of Rocky Mount passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edward “Eddie” Altice; mother, Ellen McGhee; father, Jack McGhee; and brother, James McGhee. Surviving are her children, Herbie Altice (Kim), Maria Cipolletti (Brian) and Angela Mattox (Ricky Bell); grandchildren, Courtney Altice, Kayle Stanley, Hunter Altice, Madison Mattox and Mason Mattox; great-grandchildren, Harrison Stanley, Via Stanley, Zyena Altice-Ollis and River Altice-Ollis; brother, Jeff McGhee (Sharon); sister-in-law, Ann McGhee; and close friends, Connie Hopkins, Priscilla Locher and Darlene Guilliams. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Jude or a local animal shelter. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Oak Grove Church of the Brethren Cemetery with Pastor Eddie Hawks officiating.
