Percy Douglas Boles, age 84 of Rocky Mount passed away at Golden Living Center, Clifton Forge. Born on May 21, 1931, in Pittsylvania County, he was a son of the late Luther Grey Boles and Margie Brown Boles. He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Rector Boles; two sisters and four brothers. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Singleton Boles. Percy is also survived by his three daughters; Deborah Wray (Aubrey), Teresa Hale (Barry) and Donna Boles Collins ( Anthony), three grandchildren; Doug Wray (Tracy), Lindsay Wray Montgomery (Ron), Gina Hale Clark (Ryan) and a great-granddaughter, Madison Wray, sister-in-law; Shirley Cooper (Claude), numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews. He is also survived by three stepchildren; Debra (D.J.) Pritchard, Johnny Singleton and Mark Singleton, their children and grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Flora Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bruce Tuttle officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
