Perry Douglas Brown, Sr.

Perry Douglas Brown, Sr. age 88 of Glade Hill, went to be with the Lord Friday, October 2, 2015 with his family by his side at his home. He served in the Unites States Army for two years and was employed at MW Manufactures for over 50 years. He was born July 30, 1927, a son of the late Willie and Edith Brown. He was also preceded in death by five brothers; two sisters and one grandson. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 64 years, Shirley Brown; son and daughter –in-law, Perry Jr. and Debbie Brown; two daughters, Connie and Tammy; 6 grandchildren; 14 great - grandchildren; sister, Marie Shively (Bobby); brother, James Brown. Funeral services will be conducted at Henry Fork Church of the Brethren, 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2015 with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. His family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at the church.
