Peter George Finlay

Peter George Finlay, 64, of Union Hall, VA, previously of Purcellville, VA passed away May 31, 2018. He was born in Paterson, NJ on March 12, 1954 to George and Marylou Finlay. He married Barbara Sheridan on April 26, 1975. He served in the US Army as a biological research assistant at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. After his Army career, he worked as a school bus driver for Loudoun County public schools. He is survived by his wife, Barbara, son Travis and daughter-in-law Shannon, daughter Amber, and grandson Tyler. A memorial service will be held at Redwood United Methodist Church in Rocky Mount, VA on June 12, at 11:00 am. Donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (mda.org) or the Redwood United Methodist Church building fund. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
