Phyllis Anne Hughes

Phyllis Anne Hughes, age 84 of Roanoke has gone to heaven to celebrate Christ?s Birthday. Her faith was strong and she knew heaven was calling her home. Surviving are her two children, Cliff and Lynne; one granddaughter, Hannah who was her pride and joy; brother, Richard Hill whose bond will never be broken; and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. "Boo Bear" the family dog loved Phyllis so the family asks that in lieu of flowers, please send a contribution to your local SPCA. Cliff, Lynne and Hannah would like to thank everyone for their support and prayers. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
