Ralph Edward Lucas

Ralph E. Lucas, age 78 of Wirtz passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013. He was born January 10, 1935 a son of the late William B. and Maggie Snow Lucas. Ralph was a veteran of the United States Marines and a member of Hales Ford Baptist Church. Surviving is his loving wife of 55 years, Kathleen Lucas; several nieces, nephews and a host of special friends. Funeral services will be conducted at Hales Ford Baptist Church 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013 with Pastor Melvin Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park with military honors. His family suggest memorial donations be made to Hales Ford Baptist Church, 2485 Lost Mountain Road, Wirtz, Va. 24184. His family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center Rocky Mount/ Smith Mountain Lake.
