Randolph "Randy" Eugene Steele

Randolph “Randy” Eugene Steele, age 76 of Roanoke passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024. He was born April 1, 1948, a son of the late Curtis and Roxie Sloan Steele. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant son, Randolph Eugene Steele Jr.; and brother, Bennie Steele. Surviving are his wife of 22 years, Brenda Cole Steele; two sons, Allen (Renee) Steele and Shannon Steele; grandchildren, Kellen, Allison and Isabell Steele; step-children, Nicky (Keith) LeBlanc and Donnie (Amy) Perdieu; step-grandchildren, Jessica (Luis Ceron) Wilburn and Charley Hunt; step-great-grandchildren, Junior, Sadie, Kaiden, Isabella and Noah Ceron; siblings, Julia Evans, Wanda Hashemzadeh and Robert Steele; special friends, Bob Arbogast, Gordan and Pam Middlecoff and Mary Hennegar; and his beloved support dog, Hank. Randy was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He was the best husband, father, and grandfather in the whole world. A memorial service will be held at Flora Funeral Chapel, 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2024. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
