Randy Lee Elkins

Randy “Wormy” Lee Elkins, age 54 of Rocky Mount, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Frances Mitchell Elkins; father, George Leo Elkins; grandchild, Nash Leo Elkins; and his beloved pet, Decker. Surviving are his son, Doug Elkins (Caydee); daughter, Kailee Coleman (Casey); sister, Connie Hodges (Gary); brothers, Mike Elkins (Debbie), Don Elkins (Cheryl), and David Elkins (Bambi); grandchildren, Karsyn, Keegan, Sawyer, Weston Wimmer, and Annaleigh King; several nieces and nephews. Randy was an admirer of Nascar races and spending time with his family. He always had candy in his pockets and would send Facebook messages to everyone. Randy had a great love for his dogs, Black and Decker. A memorial service will be held at Henry Fork Church of the Brethren, 6:00 p.m. Thursday, January 27, 2022 with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and at other times at the home of Misty and Brian Hall (94 Woodland Forest Circle, Rocky Mount, VA 24151.) In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Franklin County Humane Society. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
