Ray Gould

Walter Ray Gould Jr 53, died unexpectedly on February 21, 2019, at his home in Rocky Mount Va. He was born May 03, 1965 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Walter Ray Gould Sr and Joyce (Sneed) Gould. He is also preceded in death by his sisters, Constance Kay Coffia and Heather Rene' Stacey. Ray married Liz Edwards and the couple were married for 18 years before they divorced and stayed best friends till the end. Ray owned his own business with Gould's Restaurant Exhaust & Hood Cleaning, which his sons will take over and rename and build the business for him. Ray loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and boating. He loved spending time with his Grand babies more than anything in this world. He loved being in and on the water and he loved to eat. He was always playing around and having a good time. He had several special friends here and afar. Ray loved life and had a great sense of humor and made everyone laugh. Ray is survived by his son's Walter Ray Gould III and his wife MacKenzie Dollyhigh Gould of Rocky Mount, Dereck Gould and his wife Heather Angle Gould of Rocky Mount. His sisters, Darlene Camarillo and her husband Nick, Kelly Hendricks and her husband Rick, Tammy Gould and Ron Bettencourt, Bill Gray, and Cynthia Hernandez. Ray's grandchildren, Kylie, Kayden, Brooklyn and Bella and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2:00 p.m. Saturday with Rev. Deke Andrews. His family will receive family and friends at the home of Walter Ray Gould III after the service.
