Raymond Lee Nichols, age 52 “my buddy” of Callaway went to be with the Lord Thursday, April 9, 2009.
Raymond was a millwright with Mennel Milling since 1976.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Crystal; half-sister, Charlotte and husband Brownie Woolard; step-sister, Patty and husband Gene Perdue; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, friends, co-workers, and his faithful companion, Billy (his dog).
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Monday with Rev. Bud Nichols and Rev. Gene Craighead officiating. Interment will follow in the Green Family Cemetery.
His family will be receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount.
