Rebecca Freeman Hodges

Rebecca Freeman Hodges, age 83 of Glade Hill passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Gilbert Hodges; mother, Nora Ellen Young; father, E.M. Freeman; brother, Raymond Lee Burgess; sister, Nellie Freeman Austin; and son-in-law, John Hannon. Surviving are her children, April Hodges, Eric Hodges and Misty Hodges; numerous nieces and nephews. Rebecca was a lifelong caretaker as she worked as a CNA for many years. She enjoyed gardening and loved her cats. She was a great seamstress and an exceptional cook. A graveside service will be held at Franklin Memorial Park, 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 22, 2024 with Chaplain Rick Poland officiating. Her family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. Saturday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
