Rebecca Ann Hodges Preston

Rebecca Ann Hodges Preston, age 89, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, November 2, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Madeline Hodges; sisters, Francis Broce, Betty Jean Hall, Elise Young, Billie Hodges and Patricia Law. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Alvah D. Preston; son, Donald (Gloria) Preston; grandchildren, Stephanie Preston, Jenny Hodges and William Hodges; sisters, Doris Buckner, Helen (Jimmy) Bennett; sisters-in-law, Sylvia Holley, Phoung Holley, Mary Jo (Ernie) Hubble. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be conducted at Fairview Church of the Brethren 2:00 p.m . Saturday, November 12, 2022 . Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2022 at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
