Rebecca Amos Stanley

Rebecca Amos Stanley, age 80 of Rocky Mount passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022. She was predeceased by her parents, James Raymond and Ethel Harrison Amos; and her husband, James E. Stanley. Rebecca taught at Glade Hill School for two years and at Franklin County High School for 34 years in the business department. She was a member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church. Surviving are her brother, Donald R. Amos of Roanoke; her sister, Annette A. Bowman (Johnny) of Rocky Mount; niece, Beth Bowman; and a number of cousins. The family would like to thank Bonnie Harlow and her staff for all of their loving care they gave Rebecca. A private graveside service will be held at Franklin Memorial Park with Chaplain Troy Mays officiating.
