Rev. Rickie Lee Mizak

Rev. Rickie Lee Mizak, age 74 of Ferrum passed away Saturday, July 11, 2026. He was born August 7, 1951, a son of the late Andrew and Claudine Mizak. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Steve and Mike Mizak. Surviving are his children, Erick, Brian and Tammy (Enos); grandchildren, Amber, Tristan and Jaxson; and one sister, Cecilia Erickson. Rickie worked in Radio and TV Ministry for over 30 years spreading the word of Jesus. He also helped with Jail Ministries. Rickie had a love for hot rods, hunting, family and his faith. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Jude’s Cancer Center or the Lewis Gale Cancer Center. Funeral services will be held at Flora Funeral Chapel, 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 18, 2026 with Pastor Jim Steele and Dr. Richard Harrell officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
