Richard R. Bowles, age 94 of Ferrum died Saturday, April 29, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna May Bowles; parents, Ezra and Beatrice Wells Bowles; brother, James A. Bowles; and a great-grandchild, Quest R. Bowles. Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Dennis W. and Cecilia Bowles; grandchildren, Aaron Bowles (Crystal), Richard R Bowles II (Marie), Kimberly A. Hurd (Joe), Katherine C. Bowles (Justin); great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn R. Bowles, Michael R. Harvill, Ashley M. Hurd, Chloe A. Hurd, Hannah J. Hurd, Aurora P. Bowles-Riddle, Mirabelle E. Bowles-Riddle, Nathaniel P. Bowles-Riddle, Alyssa D. Bowles; and great-great-grandchild, Adilynn M. Huff. Graveside services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Camden, New Jersey at a later date.
