Richard A. Pasquale, age 79 of Moneta and formerly of Little Falls, NY, died Friday, October 1, 2021. He resided in Virginia since 2016. Richard was born October 28, 1941 in Little Falls, NY. He was a son of Emilio and Theodora (Fallis) Pasquale. He graduated with the Class of 1959 from Little Falls High School. He served in the U.S. Army from 1961 and reserves until 1967. He was honorably discharged in 1964. He is survived by his wife, Sandra; two children, Richard J. Pasquale and wife Tracie A. Pasquale and special needs son, Robert T. Pasquale; two beautiful granddaughters, Sadie and Kira Pasquale, all of Virginia; brother, David Pasquale and wife, Linda Pasquale from New York; and sister-in-law, Carolyn Pasquale from Florida. Richard was predeceased by his brother, Theodore R. Pasquale. Richard was a member and past president of the ITAMS (Italian American War Veterans), Director at the Herkimer County Fairgrounds Association, Director at the Salisbury Ridgerunners; Charter member of the Lions Club in Dolgeville, NY, Mason Lodge in Dolgeville, NY, American Legion in Little Falls, NY, VFW in Lowville, NY, Polish Club in Little Falls, NY, Fraternal Order of Eagles #4344 at Smith Mountain Lake, and the Moose Club in Moneta. Richard was a supervisor at Allegro Shoe Corp. for 19 years, and retired from Gehring Tricot after 15 years. He enjoyed music, dancing, camping, boating, fishing, snowmobiling, woodworking, bowling, hunting, and life in general. A memorial service will be held at the Fraternal Order of Eagles (Smith Mountain Lake) at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 10, 2021.
