Richard Eric Perdue, age 64, of Glade Hill, passed away August 1, 2007 at his home in Redwood.
He was born May 15, 1943 to the late John O. and Dorothy Mae Campbell Perdue.
Surviving are his wife of 43 years Nancy Perdue; daughter and son-in-law Sheila and Mike Ramey; son and daughter-in-law Stevie and Tammy Perdue; grandchildren Jason Wright, Brent Wright, Stephen Perdue, and Taylor Short; two great-grandchildren Katelin Wright and Colyn Wright; one brother Charles “Bud” Perdue and wife Gaynell; one sister Ella Chitwood and husband Bobby; one sister-in-law Mary Alice Thurman; special friends Butch, Shelby and Lynn Ayers.
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2:00 p.m. Friday with Rev. Russell Prunty and Rev. Bill Doss officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
His family will be receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
