Richard Alan Stansbury, age 42 of Union Hall passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at his home.
He was preceded in death by his father Alan P. Stansbury.
Surviving are his wife Hollie; son Rick; daughter Erin; and stepdaughter Rachel. He also leaves his mother Miriam Stansbury; sisters Donna Stansbury, Janine Haley and Patricia Stansbury.
Rick was born in Montclair, New Jersey and grew up in Harding Township New Jersey. He moved to Virginia 10 years ago and worked with his father at Quan-Tech Inc. He also worked in his own company, Corvair Motorsports which repaired and reconditioned vintage Corvair cars. He was currently employed by Lowes in Roanoke.
A private ceremony will be conducted Monday, October 29, 2007 for family and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to a favorite charity.
