Richard Lynn “Rick” Thompson, age 39 of Rocky Mount, died Saturday, May 31, 2008.
He was a project manager at RRMM Architects where he had been employed for 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Walter Hodges.
Rick is survived by his parents, Lester and Carol Thompson; sister and brother-in-law, Rhonda and Billy Akers; niece, Jordan Philpott; grandmother, Elva Hodges; several aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends, Craig Sharpe, Jim Vancleaf, Mark Sexton and Alfred Hamblin.
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. Robert Williard and Rev. Randy Gue officiating. Interment will follow in the Hodges Family Cemetery.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Monday with his family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount and other times at the home of his parents, 1647 Ingramville Road, Ferrum.
