Ricky D. Brown

Ricky D. Brown, age 56 of Rocky Mount died Monday, July 15, 2013. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Brown; grandmother, Bessie Pauline Altice; and brothers, Dennis and David Brown. Surviving are his wife, Valrie Brown; daughter and son-in-law, Christy (Stephen) Floyd; granddaughters, Brooklyn and Kennedy Floyd; mother, Eula Mae Brown; brother, Tim (Missy) Brown; niece, Jessica Brown; sister-in-law, Lisa Brown; nephews, Andy, Donald, and Jakob Brown. Ricky was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He was a devoted family man and was loved by many. Ricky enjoyed the outdoors with his passion for hunting and farming. Services will be private. His family will receive friends at the home, 3951 Doe Run Road, Rocky Mount. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
