Ricky Gene Ries, age 69 of Moneta passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025. He was born August 8, 1955, the son of the late Eugene and Thelma Louise Ries. Surviving are his wife, Barb Ries; children, Ashley (Adam) Hill and Bryan (Angel) Ries; stepson, Scott Dalton; six grandchildren, Andrew, Aaron, Abigail, Anna, Alex and Blakely; and sister, Terri (Sonny) Newton. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount/Smith Mountain Lake.
