Robert Lee Ailstock, Jr.

On Monday, May 11, 2020 Robert Lee “Bob” Ailstock, Jr. passed away at his home in Ferrum, Virginia at the age of 61. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee Ailstock, Sr. and June Bernice Ailstock; and brother, Thomas Warren Ailstock. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Connie Sue Ailstock; daughters, Rebecca “Becky” Hazeltine, and Chrisandra “Sandy” Ailstock; grandchildren, Michelle “Shelly” Price, William Chrisman-Hazeltine, Breana Karr, and Destiny Price; stepchildren, Dale (Stephanie) Hodges, Gene (Cathy) Hodges, Waylon (Milissa) Hodges, Trina (Harold) Hodges, Dawn (Tony) Zeigler, and Crystal (Billy) Hodges; step grandchildren, Stephanie Hall, Lisa Peterson Hynes, Kasey and Keith Hodges, Danielle Cook, Kendall Hodges, Kayla Major, and Brita Doss; numerous step great grandchildren; and many beloved friends. Robert worked for many years as a truck driver for Adkins Mayflower Moving and Bekins Van Lines. Robert also worked for B.T Paving and Construction Inc. in Salem, Virginia and Mc Neill Asphalt Maintenance Inc. in Boones Mill, Virginia. Robert will be greatly missed by those who loved and knew him. Memorial Services will be planned by family at a later date.
