Robert Franklin Bailey, age 74 of Rocky Mount died Friday, February 15, 2008.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby H. Bailey; son and daughter-in-law, Robert Keith and Lorrie Bailey; daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Chris Powell, Jodey and Kevin Altice; 7 grandchildren including Robert Shain and Stephanie Bailey, Randall Lee and Hannah Bailey, McKayla Bailey; one great-grandson, Robert N. Bailey; two step grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; sisters, Leona Clark, Carolyn and Carrington (Punk) Holloway; brother, Wayne and Paula Treadway; sisters-in-law, Lois Chitwood and Maebelle Honaker.
Funeral services will be conducted from Rocky Mount First Church of the Brethren 2 p.m. Monday, February 18, 2008 with Pastor John Collins, Rev. Liz Lazenby and Rev. James Wagner officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park.
The family will accept flowers or memorial contributions may be made to Franklin County Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 147, Rocky Mount, Virginia 24151.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rocky Mount First Church of the Brethren.
