Robert Harry Edwards

Robert Harry Edwards, age 81 of Rocky Mount passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Buford Edwards and Maggie Moore Edwards; three brothers, G.B. Edwards, Jr., Harvey “Ray” Edwards and Johnny Edwards. He is survived by a sister Laura Ashby (Jimmy), his three daughters, Patricia Moran (Butch), Robin Davis (PeeWee), Cheryl Elkins (Don); son, Robert Edwards (Erin); grandchildren, Lorrie Robertson, Melissa Anderson, Rebecca Yopp, Brett Davis, Brooke Lundsford, Chris Elkins, Dylan Elkins, Jason Edwards, Kristy Edwards and Devin Edwards; 15 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. special friends, Mickey and Joyce Witcher, Nicky Pagans, Jeff and Euell Moran and Bobby Taylor. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel, 11 a.m. Saturday with Minister Mickey Witcher and Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. His family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
