Robert Harold King

Robert Harold King, age 70 of Rocky Mount, VA and formerly of Clinton, MD died on Friday, October 26, 2012. He was a Life Time Member of the Clinton Volunteer Fire Department; he joined Clinton VFD in 1961. He was also a member of Loyal Order of Moose 1053, Fraternal Order of Eagles 4344 and Son of Amvets Post 40. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Charles and Elise King, brothers Lee and George King, sisters, Rosemary Ray, Betty Garner and Edith Smith. He is survived by his son, Paul (Vicky) King of Waldorf, MD; daughter, Lisa (Mike) Faunce of Mechanicsville, MD; two grandchildren, Jacob Faunce and Megan King; sister, Margaret Grierson; brothers, Tony, Kenneth, Richard, Ronald and William King; special friend, Marie Moore and family. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2012, at The Clinton Moose Lodge, 10404 Brandywine Road, Clinton, MD 20735. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Clinton VFD, 9025 Woodyard Road, Clinton, MD 20735. Interment will be private. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
