Robert Michael Murin

Robert “Bob” Michael Murin, age 73 of Moneta died Monday, October 3, 2011 after suffering a lengthy illness with Alzheimer’s. He was born October 15, 1937 and was preceded in death by Jane Patricia Murin. Bob worked for 36 years at Kraft General Foods in White Plains, NY. He also worked at Moneta Farm Service following retirement. He loved to read, fish, and walk with his chocolate lab, Crunch and oldest daughter Kelly. He was a loner, but a great man and will be greatly missed. Surviving are his children, Kelly Maxey, Jane Grant, Debi Caritati, Lynne Aponte and Rob Grant. Funeral services will be conducted from Resurrection Catholic Church 2 p.m. Thursday with Deacon Chris Barrett officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
