Robert William Reed, Jr.

Robert William “Bob” Reed, Jr., age 59 of Rocky Mount died Tuesday, September 6, 2011. Bob was a veteran serving his country well with the United States Air Force and was a supervisor with Trinity Packaging in Rocky Mount. He enjoyed playing musical instruments and was an avid hunter and enjoyed the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert William Reed, Sr. Surviving are his wife, Randa Reed; two sons, Andrew William Reed of Reedsville, W.Va, David Reed and wife Lea of Jacksonville, NC; granddaughter, Carolyn Reed; mother, Grace Reed; two brothers, John (Kathy) Reed, Mike (Beth) Reed; and three sisters, Joan (Walter) Treweek, Jane (Danny) Neff, Jeanne (Darvin) Kanagy; a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles; and best friend, Michael Hohl. Memorial services will be conducted at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Planned Pethood of Franklin County, 18401 Virgil H. Goode Highway, Rocky Mount, VA 24151.
