Robert Lewis Smith

Robert Lewis Smith, age 71 of Rocky Mount died Monday, April 9, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Louise Smith; and sister, Lucy Pagans. Surviving are his children, Robert W. Smith, Stephanie Smith, Kevin Smith and Brian Smith; grandson, Walker Westling; brothers, Warren Smith and Jeff Smith; sister, Rita Hodges; and “brother in music”, Jerry Smith. Robert was a United States Army Veteran serving during Vietnam. Funeral services will be conducted from Sandy Ridge Baptist Church 2 p.m. Friday with Pastor Joe Dillon officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. His family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
