Robin Ann Walker

Robin Ann Walker, age 52 of Penhook passed away Monday, December 27, 2010. She was a member of Boones Chapel Church of the Brethren. Robin was born March 1, 1958 to the late Emmitt and Lucy Robertson Walker. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Russell Lanier Bowers. Surviving are her two daughters and sons-in-law, Penny and Chris Belcher, Amber and Jason Martin; grandchildren, Cody and Dana Belcher; sisters and brother-in-law, Peggy and Joe Potter, Sherry Walker and son Jacob; brothers and sisters-in-law, Donnie and Linda Walker, Junior and Vicki Walker; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Shiree Ashby and Sharon Hughes. Memorial services will be conducted from Boones Chapel Church of the Brethren 6 p.m. Thursday with Pastor Mike Gallimore officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Boones Chapel Church of the Brethren, c/o Jeremy Adkins, 16405 Snow Creek Road, Penhook, Virginia 24137 or to Snow Creek Rescue Squad, c/o Linda Plybon, 8368 Snow Creek Road, Penhook, Virginia 24137. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and following the service for a fellowship meal.
