Ronald Lewis Doss

Ronald Lewis Doss, age 80, of Roanoke went to his eternal heavenly home on Friday, December 9, 2016. He was born October 18, 1936 in Callaway, to the late Rufus Lewis and Ruby Holland Doss and was also preceded in death by his wife Barbara, a brother, William Doss and nephew, Tony Doss. Ronald retired from John Hancock Steel where he worked in various positions and made many lifetime friends. He was a lifetime member of the Franklin County Rescue Squad. Ronald was a devoted and beloved father, grandfather and friend who throughout his illness never complained. Surviving are his son, Randy (Kathie) Doss and daughter, Debra (Kelvin) Linkous, dearly loved grandchildren, Brookes Doss and Clay Linkous, great-granddaughter, Halynn Weddle, brother, Rodger (Carol) Doss and sister-in-law, Lane Doss, nephew, Sean (Melinda) Doss, a very special friend, Janet Russ and family. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of choice. Graveside services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Monday, December 12, 2016 at Franklin Memorial Park with Rev.
