Ronald Lee Mclaughlin

Ronald Lee McLaughlin, age 79 of Penhook passed away Monday, June 13, 2016. He was born March 20, 1937, a son of the late Jesse Ellsworth and Glenna Lee Waldron McLaughlin and retired from the U. S. Postal Service after many years of service. Surviving are his wife, Janice McLaughlin; daughter, Pamela Stern (Lee); grandchildren, Adam Stern (Missy), Daniel and Molly Bearchell (Bryce), one great-grandson, Eli; step-children, Melissa Kay Smith and Jeffrey Maurice Smith; three step-grandchildren; brother, William Ellsworth McLaughlin (Joyce) and a nephew, Billy. Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2016 with Rev. David Long officiating. Interment will follow in Glade Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. His family will receive friends one hour prior to service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
