Ronald Wayne Rigney

Ronald Wayne Rigney, age 58 of Rocky Mount went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 24, 2017. He was the Pastor of Victory Baptist church in Henry, Virginia for 20 plus years. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Rigney and Catherine Cannaday. Those left behind to cherish his many memories are his three children, Christina R. and David Love of New Orleans, LA, Ronald W. and Janis Rigney of Mt. Hope, W.Va., Jonathan M. Rigney of Roanoke, VA; the mother of his children, Cynthia A. Rigney; two grandsons, Titus and Elijah W. Rigney; and siblings, Danny Rigney, Cheryl Pagan, Theresa Bailey, and Lynwood Cannaday; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Northside Baptist Church, Bassett. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
