Ronaldia Moore Foster (Rhody) age 93, of Rocky Mount died, Friday, March 30, 2007.
Mrs. Foster was born on March 13, 1914 a daughter of the late Henry T. and Mittie Ann Ferguson Moore. She was also preceded in death by her husband Bennie Foster; and three brothers, Elmer, Charlie and Clarence Moore.
Mrs. Foster was also a member of Sandy Ridge Baptist Church and was a very loving and special mother and grandmother, and will be missed by all very much. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Mary and Allen McBride, Glen and Loretta Foster, Donald and Ruby Foster, Bill and Nancy Foster; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Melva Painter; several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude to the staff at Trinity Mission and Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital for her kind and loving care.
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Joe Dillon officiating. Interment will follow in Sandy Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family request the memorial contributions be made to Sandy Ridge Baptist Church Building Fund, 1444 Bonbrook Mill Road, Rocky Mount, Va. 24151.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. on Saturday with her family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
