Rose Mae Dickey

Rose Mae Dickey, age 77 formerly of Smith Mountain Lake passed away Saturday, August 16, 2014. She is survived by her husband, Cody Dickey; children, Carita "Ms. Kitty" Ballou, Toni Ann Randolph, Debbielyn Clark (Dickey); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren including two special grandchildren, Nickholis Hammond and James Milton. Rose has a beauty salon in her home for many years. She was an avid square dancer, quilter and served as a volunteer on the Natural Bridge Maintenance Crew on the Appalachian Trail. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Appalachian Trail Conservancy (http://www.appalachiantrail.org/donate). As the request of Mrs. Dickey there will be no services.
