Roxie Meador Webster

Roxie Kessie Meador Webster, age 76, of Boones Mill, went to meet the Lord Sunday, June 27, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born April 25, 1934 the youngest child of 11 children born to Walter Thomas and Berta Lumsden Meador. She enjoyed her calling as a wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Webster was a member of Bethlehem Church of the Brethren and enjoyed participating in church activities as long as her health permitted. Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Glenwood B. Webster; children, Glenna Webster Ridgway and husband Jerry, Mark Webster and wife Kim, Nancy Webster; grandchildren, Allyson Ridgway Lynch and husband Adam, Andrew Ridgway, Amy Webster; sister, Alberta Furrow; brothers and sisters-in-law, Eugene and Ruth Meador, Jack and Joyce Meador; sister-in-law, Edna Meador; many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and close friends. Funeral services will be conducted from Bethlehem Church of the Brethren 11 a.m. Thursday with Pastor Bill Hinton, Rev. J. Willard Bowman, and Rev. Melvin Harris officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Susan G. Her family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Flora Funeral & Cremation Service, Rocky Mount.
