Roy Jeffrey Hopkins

Roy Jeffery Hopkins, 57 of Penhook passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014. Roy was born May 26, 1957 in North Carolina and served in the United States Army 101st Airborne. He loved to hunt and ride his motorcycle (Harley). He was preceded in death by his father, Elroy Hopkins. Surviving his wife, Nelda Hunt Hopkins; daughters, Breanna Hopkins and Kayla Beard; grandson, Logan Radford Beard; mother, Barbara Hopkins; sister, Lisa Rice and friend Tim Hall; nephew, Chris Rice and his daughter, Allyssa. Memorial services will be conducted at Henry Fork Church of the Brethren 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2014 with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. His family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the church and other times at the home of Betty Johnson (Nelda?s sister).
