Ruby H. Hall

Ruby H. Hall, age 91 of Martinsville died Friday, December 25, 2009. She retired from Moorefields Laundry and Dry Cleaners. She was preceded in death by two sons, Junior Hall and Harry Lee Hall; five brothers; and two sisters. Surviving are her devoted children and spouses, Tom Hodges (Lois) of Bassett, Mary H. Walker (James) of Bassett, Alvie (Lena) Tucker (Val) of King and Queen Co., Ginny Hall of Chesterfield Va., Linda Luellen (Sonny) of Prince George, Va., Eugene Hall (Patricia) of Ridgeway; 23 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren; brother, George Atkins; many loving friends, especially from Spruce Village. Graveside services will be conducted from the Hodges Family Cemetery 1 p.m. Monday with Pastor C. Carson Williams and Pastor Jackie Poe officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1079C Spruce Street, Martinsville, Va. 24112. Her family will receive friends 3-5 p.m. Sunday at Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount.
