Ruby Carter Law

Ruby Carter Law, age 87 of Rocky Mount passed away at her home on Thursday, November 8, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Cecil Law; her parents, Lonzie and Violia Carter; brothers, Lyndel, Lonzie, Cecil and Ray Carter; and sister, Jean Law. Surviving are her sons, James and Ann Law of Moneta, Bobby Law of Rocky Mount; sisters, Edith Hodges, Ercell Hodges, Agnes Franklin, Betty Jones and Linda Younger; brothers, Glen, Curtis and Wayne Carter. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all of her family. A special thank you to Marsha and Rose of Gentle Shepherd Hospice for their care. Graveside services will be conducted from Franklin Memorial Park 11 a.m. Saturday with Dr. Joey McNeill officiating. The family respectfully requests no food. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
