Ruby Bowles Wilder

Ruby Bowles Wilder age 77 of Roanoke passed away Saturday November 25, 2017. She was born in Franklin County October 30, 1940 to the late Odie and Mildred Gibson Bowles. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Bill Wilder. Together they operated A-1 Flea Market. Surviving are her two sons, Les (Robin) Wilder, Richard (Laura) Wilder; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother William (Janet) Bowles, sisters, Sarah Stump, Irene (Jim) Pierce. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Flora Funeral Chapel with Rev. Leonard Castleman officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
