Ruth Young Austin

Ruth Y. Austin, age 81 of Rocky Mount died Tuesday, December 23, 2014. She was a member of Fairview Church of the Brethren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Una Young; son, Brian Austin; sister, Gladys Bussey and brother, Buford Young. Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Buren Austin; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Kim Austin; grandson, Christopher Austin; step-grandchildren, Lance and Hannah Bibbs; brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Juanita Young, Ralph and Etta Mae Young; sisters, Hazel Burgess and Myrtle Burgess; several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016. Mrs. Austin?s wishes were to have no services.
