Ruth R. Bryant

Ruth R. Bryant age 86, of Rocky Mount, passed away Friday September 9, 2022. She was formerly employed at Kenrose and Uttermost before her retirement and was a member of Sandy Ridge Baptist Church.  Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Park & Glenna Ross, brother, Bobby Ross, husband, Joseph H. Bryant, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harry and Estelle Bryant, in-laws, David (Myrtle), Hugh, Jerry, Page King (Francis), Ann Tyree (Claude) Joe Bowyer and Carroll Gardner. She was a loving and devoted mother to her son, Joseph Daniel Bryant “Joey” and is also survived by in-laws, Betty Gardner, Goldie Bryant, Sue Bowyer and Gay Bryant, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel, 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2022 with Rev. Joe Dillon officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
