Sally D. Wilson

Sally D. Wilson, age 90, of Rocky Mount passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015. She was born September 20, 1924 a daughter of the late John and Mary Dillon. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Wilson, siblings, James, Calvin, Paul, John, Nelson, Carlton, Stanford, Kenneth and an infant baby. Surviving are her daughter, Shelia (Charles) Johnson, granddaughter, Stephanie (Jeremy) Lawson, brothers Jimmy (Evonne) Dillon, Edgar Junior Dillon and those who called her Mama Sally, Jerry and Denise Dowdy, Margaret Morris, also a host of nieces and nephews. The family expresses appreciation to the Unit 2 staff of Franklin Health Care Center for the wonderful care given to their mother. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Flora Funeral Chapel with Rev. Mark Stugelmeyer officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
