Sandra Jo Sink

Sandra Jo Sink, age 72 of Richmond died Wednesday, September 26, 2018. She is preceded in death by her mother, Audrey Hudson Sink; and her brother, Robert Benjamin Sink. She is survived by her loving father, Joseph Lenwood Sink; sister, Lynn Sink Allen; brother-in-law, Randy Allen; two nieces, Kendall Leigh Allen and Lauren Davis Allen; one nephew, William Benjamin Allen; one aunt, Edith Sink; and many cousins. Sandra attended FCHS, graduated from Virginia Intermont College and Campbell University with an education degree. She worked in several elementary schools and FCHS as a physical education teacher. Sandra has been dealing with many illnesses for over 40 years. Over the past few years, she has stayed at Divine Favor Residential Home where the staff and her fellow residents loved her as part of their family. We owe immeasurable debt and much gratitude to Sabrina and Mike Epps for standing by her and meeting her everyday needs while at Divine Favor. She was very happy there and never complained. The staff of Heartland Hospice cared for her during her last days. A one hour visitation beginning at 1 p.m. will precede the memorial service on Saturday, September 29 at 2 p.m. It will be held at Flora Funeral Service at 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount, VA. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park.
