Sandra Gaye Turner

Miss Sandra “Gaye” Turner, age 61 of Glade Hill, a devoted member of Wirtz Assemblies of God, passed away peacefully to go be with her Lord Wednesday, November 30, 2016. She was born September 4, 1955 a daughter of the late Tom and Lula Dent Turner. Gaye is survived by her best friend and brother, Johnnie of whom they shared a special bond. Also to cherish her memory are her brothers and sisters, Rev. Denver Turner and wife Donna, Calvin Turner and wife Sue, Faye Divers, Margie English, Kathy Dillon and husband Phillip; her nieces and nephews, Basil Divers, Pattie English, Cheryl Kincer, Alicia Foster, Teresa Turner, John Turner, and Crystal Turner; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews of all she loved dearly. Gaye loved to attend church every time she could and all of her church family. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Wirtz Assemblies of God. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel, 1:00 p.m. Saturday with Rev. Denver Turner officiating. Interment will be in the Turner Family Cemetery. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
