Sharon Mae Dudley

Sharon Mae Hunt Dudley, age 58 of Rocky Mount died Thursday, May 23, 2013. She was born September 4, 1954, a daughter of the late Roger Walter and Frances Mae Hall Hunt and was also preceded in death by her son, Barry Dudley, Jr.; brothers and sisters, Brenda, Pansy Ann, Saford Lynn, Violet Denise, Connie Frances Hodges and Linda Turner; special aunt and friend, Shelia Furrow. Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Barry Dudley; daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Anthony Smith; sons and daughter-in-law, Brian Matthew and Danielle Dudley, Jonathan Dudley; daughter-in-law, Jessica Dudley; grandchildren, Shane Moore, Justin Bailey, Mercedes Bailey, Olivia Smith, Kolby Dudley, Madilyn Rose, Bentley and Miranda Dudley; expected great-granddaughter Braileigh Mae Dudley, daughter of grandson Barry Morton Dudley, III, brothers and sister, Roger Glenn, Jerry, Bruce, Jody Hunt and Rebecca Barnwell; many nieces and nephews, special friend, Betty Holt. Funeral services will be conducted from Henry Fork Church of the Brethren 3 p.m. Saturday with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Henry Fork Church of the Brethren. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
