Shelby B. Maas

Shelby B. Maas, age 81 went to Heaven to be with our Lord Sunday, April 7, 2019. She was dearly loved by her family and friends and brought sunshine to all she met. She loved her community and church and cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Shelby was born on September 5, 1937 to the late Gordon and Haseltine Byrd. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Jerald Maas; son-in-law, James Clingenpeel; and daughter’s companion, Clarence Kesler. She is survived by her children, Gayle Clingenpeel, Bill Maas (Patty), Lorri Maas and Jackie Maas; grandchildren, Ethen Maas (Jessie), Billy Maas, Emily Maas and Tyler Maas (Regina); great-grandchildren, Bentley, Scarlett, Bella, Levi and Anders. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Snow Creek Christian Church or the Snow Creek Rescue Squad. Funeral services will be conducted at Snow Creek Christian Church, 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 11, 2019 with Rev. Jim Compton and Rev. Bill Oliver officiating. Interment will follow in Snow Creek Memorial Gardens. Her family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Snow Creek Christian Church.
