Shelby Holley Shively Willis

Shelby Holley Shively Willis, 78 of Ferrum passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 17, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Doris Holley of Rocky Mount. Shelby was predeceased by her first husband, James Bobby Shively; as well as his parents, James Murphy and Sylvia Shively, all of Ferrum. Followed by her second husband of 39 years, Harold Lester Willis; and his parents, Herman and Blanche Willis, all of Ferrum. Also, her brothers, Billy and Junior Holley.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Turner (Jeff) and Paula Shively (Michael Hodges); grandchildren, Brian Hall (Misty), Chelsea Austin, Travis Hodges (Alex), and Caitlyn King (Ryan); one great-grandchild, Jacobie Hall; brother, Alvah Preston (Becky); and sister, Mary Jo Hubble (Ernie); in-laws, Sylvia Holley, Phoung Holley, Barbara Long, and Ronald Willis (Lois); and numerous nephews and nieces.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Joe and Beverly Rutter for their excellent care and Helen Wilcox and Carilion Hospice for their support during this time.

Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 3 p.m. Monday with Chaplain Rick Poland officiating. Interment will be private at Mountain View Memorial Park. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service and other times at the home of Brian & Misty Hall, 94 Woodland Forest Circle, Rocky Mount, VA 24151.
