Sherrill D. Dunn

Sherrill D. Dunn, age 83 of Hardy, VA passed away in Roanoke, VA on Monday, April 22, 2019. He was born on February 28, 1936 in Strong City, OK to the late, Isaac Tedrowe Dunn of Oklahoma City, OK, and Kathryn Jessie Hensley Dunn of Dallas TX area. Brothers: Jonathan Dunn, Lonnie Dunn, Ira Eugene Dunn, sisters: Beverly Denton and Kathryn Reeves, all of Oklahoma City, OK area. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Judith E. Rawl Dunn of Hardy VA, Children: Judith Sherrill Dunn Ivy and Earl Scott Alan Dunn of Denver, CO area, and Stephen Leonard Dunn of Roanoke, VA.: Stephen's five children: Christine Dunn of Cambridge, Ohio, Jessica Ann Dunn Chenault of Roanoke, VA; Matthew Stephen Dunn, USAF, New Hampshire; William Isaac Dunn and Emma Kay Dunn, of Ferrum, VA. Three great-grandchildren: Abigail, Leia, and Ti Chenault of Roanoke, VA. Siblings: J.T. Dunn of Blanchard, OK, Charline, Rexa, Hoyt, Tony Dunn all of the Dallas, TX area and Stephen Dunn of Murietta, CA.

Memorial services are scheduled for Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Halesford Baptist Church, Wirtz, VA, with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. His ashes will be buried in the family plot in Strong City, Oklahoma, on Saturday, June 15 , 2019.
